Raising a strong, confident daughter will not happen overnight. It takes commitment, love, compassion, honesty, and being present with her, just to name a few. When I was gifted a copy of the mother-daughter journal from Worldwide Creativity, I didn’t hesitate to write a review. Because I would love to see, more moms get their hands on this journal.
What is the Mother-Daughter Journal From Worldwide Creativity
The mother-daughter journal allows both mom and daughter to share their deepest thoughts and passions. Reflecting and recording on the fantastic experiences they shared and having a piece of work that you both can look back on years from now and be like, wow! We are the best mother-daughter team.
This is a great way to help moms and daughters create strong bonds. Bonds that will last forever and continue to grow with your relationship.
Just between mom and me is a creative journal with enough space for both mommy and daughter to write their stories, share their memories, and discuss them.
It allows you, the mom, to be playful and creative while allowing your daughter to be herself with you freely.
This journal will allow your daughter to express herself freely and openly with you. (something we all want as mothers, right?!)
Just between mom and me, introduces your daughter to build confidence, express gratification, and be open-minded.

What my daughter and I love about the Mother-Daughter Journal
As parents, we believe we know our kids the best ( and we do), yet, there are many things to learn about them. I found that the journaling prompts in Just Between Mom and Me allowed me to know so much more about Sophia. It allowed me to take our conversation deeper because there was that follow-up “why” question.
Some examples of the journaling prompt:
- How did you feel about school today, and what type of student were you?
- What are the three happiest moments in your life so far?
- What would you do if you could do anything you wanted?
I loved that this journal switched back and forth between writing and drawing, which was a beautiful way to tap into my creativity with my daughter.
The journal is formatted as if I’m writing a letter to my daughter and she is writing a letter to me. This is absolutely beautiful because it gives us both a memory booklet that we can look back on when we get older.
Sophia loved asking mommy questions and learning more about her mom’s childhood. Some of her favorite questions were:
- If you could go back to one day in your childhood, which day would that be? Why?
- If you could time travel, who would you visit and why? ( This was quite an emotional question for me because I lost my dad at nineteen. But I’m glad I was allowed to open up to my daughter on this)
- How did you prepare when you learned you would have a daughter?
Final notes on The Mother-Daughter Journal From Worldwide
My daughter and I loved working through this journal. It was fun and easy to navigate, and the journaling prompts were not the simple fluff questions you would ask your daughter or have her ask you.
The journal prompts were meaningful, and I could tell a lot of work went into creating this book.
It’s a very inexpensive way to connect and strengthen your bond with your daughter. It’s also an incredible gift to give to a mother and daughter.
