Why do I write love notes to my kids
As parents, we are all busy! But what’s important is making time to be present with our kiddos.
Science has shown that the more affectionate parents are with their kids, the better these children can strive socially, mentally, and emotionally. Children who receive affection from parents are happy as adults, more resilient, and achieve lifelong positive outcomes.
I want my kids to know and feel loved and appreciated every day of their lives.
Leaving a love quote to my child reminds them of my love for them, their worth, and the blessings they have brought into their parent’s life by just being their unique selves.
Ways You Can Leave Love Quotes To Your Child
1. Lunch Kits
Grab some index cards, write a love note to your child, and then slip it into their lunch boxes every morning as you pack their lunches for school.
Wouldn’t that be a pleasant and loving surprise when your child opens their lunch box at school?!
2. Whiteboards
As a homeschooling mom, this works perfectly for us!
Both kids have whiteboards on their desks which I use for writing my love quotes to them every morning.
3. Text messages
If you have a tween or teen and they got cellphones. Why not shoot them a text ever so often reminding them how much you love and adore them?! And the gratitude you feel for their presence in your life?!
4. In their rooms
You can use sticky notes or index cards and switch things up by leaving messages for your child in her room. One day it can be on her bed. The next day, on her nightstand. Then maybe inside the closet and so forth. Just make sure she can easily find them!
Have fun and be creative as you open up and express your love to your kids. A small and simple action can impact your child’s life (and yours!).
A mother’s love is like no other love. Give your child the love and affection they need today!
